Seeking advices from the experts

#1 Seeking advices from the experts

Mr anonymous

Hi there, Hope everyone is well. I need some insights and advices from all the experts. I've been doing a lot of research in regards to the key requirements of career progression into top consulting firms as a consultant but it doesn't seems like there's a consistent way to get into the top consulting firms. For your contexts, I'm a currently business analyst in a project management office of a global financial organisation, who has been involved in various types of different business initiatives/ projects (i.e. sales & distribution, new business administration, finance, actuary, technology, outsourcing/ offshoring and compliance). Apart from the above working experience, i am also holding a bachelor science degree from tertiary qualification perspective.

I am just wondering:

1.) Do i need to complete any further professional certification/ qualification such as MBA or etc?

2.) Apart from professional certification/ qualification, can you recommend any other ways that can improve my personal & technical capabilities prior to any consulting job in the top consulting firm?

3.) Should i engage any relevant recruiter? If yes who will be the most effective recruiter in the market at the moment?

4.) Do you have any other advices that will benefit my career progression into the top consulting firms?

Your advices on the above will be much appreciated.

Thank you in advance

Cheers

Frio to Mr anonymous (#1)

What has your specific involvement in those projects been?

Where was your degree from?

Which competency do you wish to join in a consultancy company?

I might be being too pedantic as your written English is better than the majority of English people, however iron out the small imperfections in your English. It's "advice" not "advices".
