UK vs German consultancy markets

Hi.

I am looking into the differences between the German and UK consultancy markets and wondered if anyone had experienced working in both markets. I know the UK market well, and have heard rumours that German companies tend to prefer buying German consultancy. I was wondering what the key trends are out there, and if they are the same as in the UK? Who are the best regarded players? And how does it differ to other European markets.

Any comments v much appreciated.

thanks
