What do you like / not like about internet jobsites?

Good evening. We're looking at ways to improve the jobsite functionality of Top-Consultant to make it more user-friendly. If you have any feedback re. what you like and do not like about other jobsites you use we'd love to hear your thoughts. Thanks in advance, Tony

Dear Tony - the website is a good first step but there are a lot of chances and possibilities. At first I think the direction of the website must be the freelance consultants and not the big five. Your website can be a very efficient basis for a global network of freelance consultants. We can discuss is by mail - we estblish a little network and search also to an efficient base. At second it will be very helpfull to establish a link overview - not with consultancy companies, with links with know how for consultants and with a own search machine.

Quick and easy search capability has to be the main priority for me. As an example MichaelPage seem to have got the search functionality right but the sector classification is not good enough for someone searching for specific consulting roles. General Consulting Industry info and news is a must have for any specialist site. The forum concept is also very useful. The user friendliness of this Forum is good, however the conversations do not always seem to be 'lively' or informative enough. The ability to automatically receive an email when a specific user definable opportunity appears could be very useful. I believe it's important for the site to cater for the full range of people employed in Management Consulting... Strategy houses, Big 5, boutique consulting and Freelancers. Regards SS.
