Mia, as an ex-strategy consultant 2 things tend to be the deciding factors in such interviews: personality fit and your performance under pressure in the case study interviews. Re. personality, the interviewers will be sensing whether you "fit" in their company - which is not something you can do too much about other than just be yourself. The latter you need to prepare yourself for - most people take some getting used to case study interviews before they really give their best. Mckinsey's website has a number of sample case studies that it would be worth studying, and most university careers services run case study preparation courses or have case study examples. You could also look out our case study guide in the eBooks section of Top-Consultant. Last piece of advice - answer the interviewer's questions with questions of your own, just to give yourself a few moments more to reflect on their question and give a more impressive answer. GOOD LUCK! Tony
