Can anyone utilise these skills?

I am currently engaged as Director of New Accounts for a City-based Search firm and am trying to break into Consultancy. A Project/Account Manager by experience, my focus has been HR/Business Development within the Pharmaceutical, Financial Service & Utilities sectors. Prior to this, I was in the US Navy. Currently studying for an MBA via distance learning. I am looking to join either a Consultancy firm specialising in one of these sectors, or who can utilise my skills/experiences elsewhere; alternatively, I would also consider joining a leading company in any of these sectors. I think you may find the MC market tough to break into at the moment as there is no real demand for people with your sort of profile.

I would suggest that you wait for the market to pick up a little before you start looking.

If you are still fairly young, there will be plenty of opportunity for you to utilise these skills in some of the larger private sector companies around the world. I'd try there first.

OK - I'm under 30 & am fluent in Spanish. Can also speak French conversationally and am learning German. On top of all this, I have a very good record as a fee-earner. Will any of that help?
