Ernst & Young Pre-employment checks for experienced hire

snappy

I have just been given a verbal offer following a partner interview. Just wanted to know what questions will asked in the pre-employment form, will they check all of the following:

  • Previous employment history (3 years or 5 years?)
  • Education history? or is that just for graduate roles?
  • Credit history?
  • Criminal record check?

I don't have anything to hide, but was just curious on what they will check and what they will know about me before I start.

It will depend which business unit you're applying in. In FS you'll have to submit to a credit check, however in Advisory, it's unlikely.

You'll have to confirm 3 years employment history, education history and declare if you have any unspent criminal convictions.

You will be contacted by their HR firm to fill out multiple forms.

They will look at all the items you've listed (not sure about credit history though).

Did you hear back from them after?
