Hello everyone. As a man who does not, I repeat does NOT, have superior social skills, I ask thee this: How does one deliver a superior presentation, of the sort that would impress even a Hollywood A-lister? Let's talk SHOWTIME!

You need to tell a story, not just present. If you are using ppt then one idea per slide, keeping it simple and keeping the focus on you. The idea is to take the audience with you, rather than expect them to passively receive information (presentations are awful for that). Basically a presentation is about a sale - whether for backing, a product, a project whatever and that needs 2 things 1 competence and 2 warmth. Assume competence for the moment (why else would you be presenting to them if they doubted your competence on the subject matter). So we have warmth.
