How many of you would consider being a freelance management consultant?

I have spent 20 years now in consulting across the big 4.

Maybe I need a change now.

Could anyone let me know the pros and cons of going independent.

If you need a change going freelance is not very imaginative ... could be a stepping stone though I guess ...

I've heard good things about Eden Mccallum and spoke to them a couple of times when I was thinking about leaving full-time consulting. They were very helpful in talking through the pros and cons- maybe give them a call? (FYI I have no association with them and I did not end up working with them in the end)
