So there might be an opportunity in the pipeline to join PwCs OPI team at consultant level. I've seen/read nothing to suggest that there are any issues, but if anyone has any first or second hand experience of any cultural issues I'd welcome some insight, I'm thinking:
- up or out policies
- back-stabbing/intimidation
- frequent overselling of projects by partners leading to team burn-out
- elitism towards those with an Oxbridge education
- a default resistance to new experienced hires
- lack of professional training opportunities (or time out the business in general for personal dev)
Those are a few that come to mind taking inspiration from the 'things that annoy consultants'
I understand that there will be isolated incidents of the above that occur in any organisation, but I'm talking specifically about issues embedded in the firms mc culture.
