I am currently interviewing for Assistant Director role at E&Y. It is in the Operations and Supply Chain practice area.

Would like to know the base salary and bonus I can expect.

Regards,

Sorry for repetition. I thought someone in this vast forum would care to provide some information. I need current remuneration information for Assistant Director (Advisory) at Ernst & Young. Any information would be much appreciated.

Rgds,

Dick

Dick, if you are interviewing for an AD position I think (as for any other position) they won't be surprised that you'd like an idea on salary and bonus.

Go on don't be shy, just ask?

I would like to share my experience so far -

1. First round - The phone interview was with a Director. Very CV focussed - core skills, industries I have worked in, previous roles, results achieved etc. Also motivation for job change - why I want to leave my current firm, why E&Y, current salary, expected salary etc. The last part was any questions I would like to ask.

2. Second Round - Again with a Director. The Case Interview was around 25 minutes - 10 minutes reading a 3 page case and 15 minutes discussion. This was followed by a interview. It was mostly focused on previous experience, cultural fit, motivation for E&Y, willingness to travel, desired industries to work for, career expectation etc. Again I was given an opportunity to ask any questions I might have about E&Y.

Feedback on interaction with HR - professional, prompt and accessible.

Dick

A rough idea would that it would come in somewhere around £120-£140/150k base + Bonuses but this is a bit of educated guess work not official!

Hope it helps if only a bit :)

Hello Dick,

What happened finally? I am experiencing the same interview and wandering the salary range of this position in order to compare the offer against.

Did you finally get the offer?

Thanks in advance,

PN

Hi ParisN,

I am still waiting for response from E&Y. Could you let me know which practice area and what role you have got the offer.

Regards,

Dick
