Outsourcing IT to Eastern Europe: solution to IT needs

#1 Outsourcing IT to Eastern Europe: solution to IT needs
16/07/2001 00:00

Sophia

Dear Readers,

I am looking for companies in need of help w/softwaredesign/maintenance or hardware manufacturing activities and save on cost. I have launched a service firm, OTW International, Ltd., assisting US companies in Eastern Europe, starting with Hungary. With a large network of very capable programmers, computer scientists and manufacturers, ready to provide high quality work, we offer a full service solution. All arranged locally, in Hungary, through our bi-lingual senior hi-tech management.

I need ideas

1./what is the best way to promote this service to find interested US firms?

2./potentially there is room for financing in exchange for equity, to turn a boot-strapping initiative into a fast-growing operation. Who might be interested in participating with small funds?

Hungary offers some unique opportunities in this field!

Sophia

An entire network

Dear Sophia,

I know exactly what you are trying to do. And I don't know how you have managed so far, but I was invovled in helping the Czech Republic's biggest and best (local) IT consultant get new contracts with leading companies in Western Europe.

This consultancy, by the way, was extremely well known in its home market, with foreign management and it even had considerable VC backing.........and still, it was very difficult for them to sell their services beyond the Czech border. But we overcame that.

If you want to know how (because it is not the kind of stuff to post on a public board) then contact me directly. My details are below.

Best regards,
