does anybody now how I can find statistical data for the consulting industry?

Check out the Management Consultancy Association website www.mca.org.uk for annual report which has revenue breakdowns for the year and historic as well. There is also a Mintel or Keynote (I can't remember which) report on the consultancy industry. I hope this helps.

MCA publications are on the web now and the Mintel/Keynote one was published in 2000
