So I come from a tech consulting world and I'm trying to the enter the operational consultant role more around 'Transformation Consultant' such as outsourcing of services (or other business functions). I was asked recently in an interview on what methodologies I would use for a business engagement? Now technology consulting has many methodologies to follow such as Prince2 which follows the typical software implementation but I really snuggled to answer this question. I sort of waffled my way through in suggesting I would use a more agile approach but I'm convinced I did not really answer the question. Any thoughts or suggestions on how to answer this question in the future?
