Hey all,

First post in this forum.

I am thinking of moving into Consulting in the UK.

I did a Computer Science degree with Finance and have spent 5 years in Financial Services and some years in smaller companies.

I wanted to understand more about Consulting in general by sector and what functions are growing.

What organisations share the best reports on this data?

Personally I like Google, but I know some others prefer Yahoo.

There's plenty of information out there on the UK consulting industry.

- The Management Consultancies Association of the UK www.mca.org.uk publishes regular updates on the sector.

- Source Global Research Group sourceglobalresearch.com produced a report on the UK market earlier this year

- You could speak to a recruiter at one of the specialist recruitment consultancies for the sector. I'd suggest the firm I used to work for, BLT, but I'd probably get flamed...

Good luck.

Don
