Deloitte Consulting - Flexibility to move around Analytics and Information Management

#1 Deloitte Consulting - Flexibility to move around Analytics and Information Management

Hi guys,

I was wondering about how easy it is to move around within a practice in Deloitte. I have applied for a position in a team within the Enterprise Content Management team which lies within Analytics and Information Management practice in the Technology Consulting side of the company. The area sounds really interesting, but is aligned with Information management more than analytics which is probably my end goal.

I have applied for a position at Consultant level and I was wondering how strict they are with resourcing if you apply for a job with a specific team - does it mean I will only really be able to apply for ECM jobs and any others will not count towards utilisation? Or is it more like a general alignment than a strict placement?

Thanks in advance.
