I am new at a small start-up consulting firm. Our three focuses are advertising, events and entertainment. Our clients previously had heard of us through my boss who is well-ingrained in the community that we serve.
We've hit somewhat of a slump and are struggling with gaining new clients. As of late, we've pitched and then follow up and follow up, but nothing. It seems the traditional word-of-mouth isn't enough anymore.
What are some of the most successful ways in gaining new clients for a firm that is still very small and has a tight budget? Any suggestions would be extremely appreciated!
