Heh. I came across an interesting one today.
A guy going by the name of "John McDibbertson" (not his real name). Applying for a role at "McDibbertson Consulting" (not the real company name). You should have seen them all sucking up to him!
It made me wonder: Clearly this is an effective technique to getting a foot in the door and progressing one's career. Sort of like someone called John McKinsey might potentially get thought of if he applied to a leading firm of consultants. Or John Goldman or John Rothschild if they applied to a leading bank.
I wonder what other interesting little possibilities like this exist. A quirky phenomenon worth thinking about.
