UK Public Sector Consulting

I've got over 5 years consulting experience - three working in a big 5 firm (outside the UK; left as first year senior consultant) and most recently 2.5 as internal consultant in the UK public sector. I'm thinking about moving back to consulting - preferably joining McKinsey, Deloitte or PwC. Any opinions on my chances? At what level should I join? What salary/benefits can I expect? Are all public sector consulting practices based in London or could I be based somehwere in south west?

Cheers

Don't know about the rest of your question, but there is always lots of work at MoD, mainly being done by IBM, Deloittes, and to a much lesser extent PA. So I suppose you could try one or all of the organisations above.
