Company Car Policies & Benefits

Help wanted! I'm trying to find out the industry standard for car allowances - I've recently been offered a senior consultant's role working for a strategic consultancy and the car allowance was only £325/month - as I used to work for a blue-chip engineering business I wasn't sure what to expect but didn't think it would be this low, especially considering the amount of mileage expected. Can anyone let me know what to expect - is this indicative?

I would view this allowance as quite low and to be honest, nearly twice that figure (or thereabouts) is what I am used to seeing within an employment package. What geographical territory are you covering, are you regional or national ?
