KPMG Grades vs Deloitte

#1 KPMG Grades vs Deloitte

Gents,

I've seen various threads on the KPMG grade structure but I'm left a little confused. I'm trying to compare them to Deloitte and where I am lost is how the senior consultant role at Deloitte sits within KPMG. Maybe I'm comparing Deloitte consulting with KPMG advisory structure.

So with Deloitte you have in Consulting:-

Analsyt

Consultant

Senior Consultant

Manager

Senior Manager

Director

Partner

KPMG Grade and Titles go as follows:

E - Graduate Trainee / Analyst

D - Consultant / Advisor / Assistant Manager

C - Manager / Executive Advisor

B - Senior Manager / Assistant Director

A - Director

P - (Equity)Partner

O - (Non-equity)Partner

So with KPMG is my assumption correct that you may start a role as Consultant and move to Advisor them to Assistant Manager which is effectively the Senior Consultant grade of the green dot.

Appreciate any sound feedback.

Thanks.

No, they are the same, just different names (e.g. Audit will call D grade assistant manager while consulting will call D grade senior consultant).
