Nathan

Hi all of you,

I am really passionate about management consulting and I know that it is very difficult for fresh graduates to become one without any experience. I graduated from LSE in July this year and I have been looking to get into consulting. What kind of experience will I need? Will being a fraud prevention agent look good on my resume?

I need some advice as I am very confused.

No.

But graduating from LSE will. Unless you got a 3rd and FPA is the only job you could get.

.....and depends on whether the skills and PowerPoints are easily copied by unscrupulous consultants.

Yes I did get a 3rd. But that was due to extenuating circumstances. I was considering the FPA role cause I thought I might do something useful with my time while waiting for a better role. So.. Should I try getting an internship with some consulting firms first?

And thank you for replying!

I believe they call that a "Vorderman" ;)

Or is it a "Douglas Hurd"?
