OC

I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who regularly contributes to these forums. Spending the past 3-4 months reading here on a weekly basis has really helped me develop career goals and objectives, whilst improving my knowledge of the consultancy sector as a whole.

I am also very grateful to say the knowledge I've gained has helped me land a graduate position in the consultancy field at a big four firm, something I am absolutely delighted with. Whilst you may not realise it, if you are reading this post, it is likely you have helped me along the way.

So once again, thank you.

:)

Well done on the new role.

Just be mindful to return here and contribute - there will be many grads coming on here for the very same reasons, and your own insights and advice to them will be very welcome.

Excellent. Not only do we expect you to come back frequently, but we also expect you to develop and grow your approach to Consultancy - from your current youthful ardour, to late-20s cynicism, to middle-aged regret and, finally, to your confused "world has changed and it's frightening" later years - with the bushy eyebrows that come with it.....

Hi forum members,

I was trying to post a new thread on the forum. However since my IT organisation has very strict proxy settings, I couldn't. So I am posting it here :)

I am a Chartered Accountant and I have 3.2 years of SAP consulting experience. I am currently working with TCS, India and drawing a salary of 8,17,000/-. Recently I got an offer from ACN Consulting for 10,18,000/-. They are offering the career level 10; position - IT operations, Senior Analyst. I was expecting a better hike.

Please suggest whether I should negotiate/join/leave.

Your inputs will help me decide on my career decision.

Thanks
