Hi Everyone,

I am an EU citizen who graduated from a top 20 school in the US and have been working as a client-facing data specialist for a year or so in Finance/IT in New York. However, due to work visa issues, my company is relocating me to London, and because I don't need a work visa in the UK, I would love to become a management consultant.

However, I'm not sure how different the recruitment process is, and what consulting firms will look for in the UK. For example, for experienced hires, will the fact that I went to a US university make me not as attractive to UK employers? Also, will it be much harder for me to get a job since I'm not coming straight out of college?

Lastly, I have had interviews with a few consulting firms in college before, but I was wondering if the interview process for consulting is much different in the UK? For example, apart from case interviews, are there assessment tests etc.?

Really appreciate y'all taking the time to read this, many thanks!
