Career move to Consulting

Dear All

I m a professional with experience of 7 years in six sigma & lean techniques. I m a Master Black Belt in six sigma. I had worked for a large multi national companies in Manufacturing and banking sector specializing in process improvements & re-engineering. I m currently placed as a AVP.

I have got an opportunity to work for one of the big fives... as a specialist in lean/six sigma.

I m keen on taking up consulting as a career option.

Please help me in taking a good decision ?

1)Will it be a good career move

2)What compensation package should I target in USD assuming I will be placed in a developed country in the Asia Pacific Region?

I am looking to get career move to Consultancy. I have MBA qualification, alongwith very successful ten years retail sector senior level managerial experience, including recruitment, HR, Numeracy, Leadership & Management.

Please advice me how can I make Impact & what materials including websites do I need to utilise to get through.
