Did u get the job?

BT consulting's first round interview recruitment centre is crap. It had all the trappings of racial segregation, where obviously the coloured didn't stand a chance.(1)what was the essence of picture taking?- to match up looks? (2)a 5 minutes one man interview where your success depended on the perogative of your interviewer who looks visibly uncomfortable at the first sight of you.- giving you a clue of the end result, an interviewer who chooses what he puts down on paper. The long and short of it all is that BT c and SI recruitment centre is not a fair assessment of one's true capabilities and needs to be reviewed. Period!!!

I found the interview quite fair and racial segregation didn't even cross my mind. I was given 30 minutes to give as many varied and interesting situations where I had demonstrated my abilities and answered the questions to the core competencies as best I could. The other way they could do it would be a telephone interview, I know I prefer the fact to face method and it shows alot about the company that they are willing to hire out a top hotel just for first round interviews.

I will be attending a recruitment center soon. What should I expect? Does it really last over 2hours? Also what sort of questions should i expect to be asked in the interview? Any tricky questions?

2 hours ! God forbid! Heavens above!
No it doesn't. The first interview is 20 mins. The rest of the 2 hours is pretty relaxed. Just smile and look ugly. ;-)

'Black asian/african and proud' you obviously seem a little misguided here. There reason the pictures are taken is that they see 60 people on one day so they just help to remind them who you are - nothing to do with racial segregation.
If you do have any evidence of this then you should put your case forward. I can't image that you do though.
You should ask for feedback and they'll be able to tell you where you fell short of the standard they are looking for. This is the whole purpose of competency based interviews. From your post I image that you may have some maturity issues you need to deal with before any employer will seriously consider you.

The interview is 30 mins and you'll also have 30 or 40 mins to meet the grads who'll feedback there general impressions of you to the assessors. Make sure you're keen and interested and have plenty of questions to ask.
Not applying for the job - but thanks all the same.
