Can anyone tell me what the IBM online test consists of? This is my first online test so im very nervous.
Any advice u can offer me will be greatly apreciated.

FYI,
I took the full paper IPAT test when I interviewed for the business dynamics (BD) part of IBM BCS. That was about 75mins worth of tests, I gather the normal BCS IPATO is about 30mins. It's tough, but keep your head and it's all very straightforward. Jon

i have done the practice tests that IBM supply and they seem pretty straightforward apart from the matrices one....thats mind boggling!!
I just u cant really prepare much....i will just touch up on my maths skills and do some practice numerical test.
By the way, did u get the job??

unfortunately not, I had a bad interview... but have learned from it and successfully got through to 2 second rounds since then. good luck with the jobhunting!

i passed the IPATO test!! it was well hard though.
I have to go to a selection day. my job hunting is going badly.....not getting nowhere.

IPATO test - people instead of asking people on this forum and receiving useless and cinical responses - go into your local bookshop (Blackwells, Waterstones or Amazon) and buy a handfull of books on 'how to pass' psychometrics - I will gaurantee that these will feature the tests IBM will put you through. I bought these books and aced all IBM tests, the tests are hard if you have not prepared! broaded your nets people.

I'd argue that the IPAT / psychometrics aren't that hard, you just need to keep your head. There's no need to go to crazy lengths, especially as it's just the 1st round.

I received an invitation to the IBM Project View Plus event for minority hiring and on their questionnaire, it ask whether I have taken the IPAT or IPATO test. Can you give me more information on what this entails?
