Joshua

Hello ,

Have a Serco Consulting assessment centre coming up. Request anyone who's recently been through the process to share experiences and preparation tips on what to expect from the interview, presentation and group activity.

Also how is the culture and pay scale for consultants/senior consultants.

Thank you in advance !!

Hi Joshua

Serco Consulting works closely with many other parts of Serco and is exposed to a wide range of operating requirements and opportunities to help improve processes or run major programmes, both here in the UK and internationally, so the ability to influence and work with a wide range of stakeholders at multiple levels is a huge asset. You will need to demonstrate good team building and collaborative working in the case study exercise. We will be assessing you all day, in and out of the elements, so bear that in mind - imagine you are a consultant on client site.

Essentially we are looking for good comms skills, good attitute, and with the ability to assimilate information quickly to help overcome obstacles and to deliver clear, concise judgement. Above all though, be yourself; we want to see personality as well!

The culture is work hard, play hard with most of the consultants having had experience of the big four; something which I believe that has helped drive our culture. In order for us to attract this capability we ensure that our salaries are competitive and in line with your competence.

This assessment is one of three we have the intention of running this year, which is very much a reflection of the direction we are heading.

I hope that answers your questions?

Look forward to seeing you on the day

Regards

Adam
