New Job

Guys any idea how to get a new job. I am a BA/PM material so neither a MC nor a techie. Got rejected in 10s of final interviews in the last couple of years. What do you suggest? Totally dejected

Well if you are getting enough interviews to reach 10s of finals, assuming that not all first interviews will lead to later stages, your CV and experience on paper are doing their jobs nicely. What you need to look at is ho you are performing at final interviews, and possibly how you are qualifying opportunities at earlier stages.

Obviously we can't help without more details though. Can you share some of the reasons for being rejected? For what type of roles/organisations etc?

Some of the reasons

- Not enough senior ( where jobs are more Sr consultant level) ...and i have approx 10 years exp

- Not from top consulting background -- Well that's on my CV

- Not what we are looking for, although you are a very good candidate -- why not to judge this bit in the initial rounds

I just think that it is highly unlikely that on all these occasions there is always someone better suited to the job than me.

I think i must be doing something fundamentally wrong. But i don't know what. I have been confident and been rejected, sometimes a bit nervous and ( obviously) rejected. There does not seem to be any pattern.
