Investing in growth consulting companies

RAK

I am about to be the recipient of a fair chunk of cold hard cash (about 60k euros) with the sale of a property i own that has delivered 12+% CAGR over 5 years.

I need to lock up the proceeds somewhere so as to not splurge it on cr*p. I am thinking investing in growth shares instead. What do you think of consulting companies ( mid cap- therefore no ACN or IBM) - mainly tech and ecommerce consulting companies- as a growth vehicle. Some are cheap at the moment, offer good valuation ratios, and are on a strong growth path. An example would be Sapient Corp ( NASDAQ: SAPE).

Serious answers please.
