Hi all,
Just wondering which consultanties are currently recruiting at present, who consultants are in process with and how your all finding the recruitment process at present?
Thanks,
|
I have first interviews with KPMG who arevery keen to find top quality process improvement consultants (contact is Barney Bubblesqueak)
I also have an interview with PWC in their FS practice (HR contact is Emma Goodtime)
I had an interview last week at CapCo, but did not get to stage two. They apparently need quite a few people, but their current agencies are letting them down. Contact their was a nice chap called Walter Walterson-Wilkinson.

I am in process with two big 4s and am unhappy with the service the recruitment agent is giving - I just wish that some Consulting agency that is more to the Point would just snatch their business away from under their noses

I thought the person at Capco was the Kenyan guy Maboza Ritchie...

AAwwww! Someone just spoiled all our fun!
Booooo to sensorship and all who sail in her.
(...ok...it was rather childish...)

Why are all you consultants (and recruiters)fixated with big4 or similar!
I’m the hiring manager at DXL-MC and I’ve found it really difficult to find agencies that will consider hiring for us. We pay good salaries and market rates for recruiters, but they seem very unwilling to take a risk with their reputations on a less well known firm.

What is your area of expertise? A lot of firms are hiring, but usually only in certain areas and sectors.

The UK consulting sector has picked up a bit, but still a bit sluggish- it hasnt broken its shackles yet to really let loose. I dont know when this will happen ( if at all).
Yes, there are positions at most consulting outfits- large and small- but these have intense competition and they are looking for exact matches to fill.
This is the case with the US consulting market as well, and mostly around the world. Exceptions are asian economies such as china and india, and also australia, where most consulting companies are hiring aggressively.
