Accenture 2nd Round interview - HR??

Hello, I have a second round Accenture HR interview coming up. My first round (telephone) was with a Senior Manager in the operating group to which I am applying (I am an experienced hire).

My question is why is it this way around? Surely HR should be first? Can anyone let me know what the structure of the second round is for experienced hires in ACC?

I had my second round interview around 2 months ago and have been offered a position since. I don't know why they do it that way round but I found the HR interview far more gruelling than the telephone interview which was less formal. HR interview lasts about 1 hr and ask all the usual competency based Q's 'Give me an example of when you used a creative idea to turn a situation around' type thing. The Qs were fairly quick fire so it is worth preparing examples in advance. This was followed by a case study and a further partner interview which was also 1 hr and actually quite enjoyable as I got on very well with the partner that interviewed me.
