Merry Christmas

Hi all,

This seems like one of the best places to throw out a few career questions and see how they bounce back. Thanks in advance for your help.

1- Background

M / 25y / UK/FR bilingual

French engineering diploma

710 GMAT

I am currently the UK Product Marketing Manager for a major consumer tech company. The last two years have been spent building the brand, its customer base and working with all aspects of the business (Finance, Operations, Marketing) to manage this rapid growth. The product lines I manage turn over 150M GBP.

2 - Career goals

I wish to join a Strategy Consulting firm and work on consumer tech projects. My long term goal is to build an expertise in consumer tech projects and specialise in the green tech space.

3 - Questions

How does the switch between tech industry and Strat / MC consulting sound? Is it too ambitious after 2 Years XP in that field?

Which large firms have the most exposure to consumer tech projects and should I target those?

Thanks for your thoughts on this.

Merry Christmas
