Moving between operating groups at Accenture

I would like to pursue a career in consultancy and am considering applying to Accenture. However, I understand that I will have to join a specific operating group if recruited and that the projects I work on will be limited to industries within that operating group. Does anyone know if it is possible for analysts to be seconded from one group to another if they wish to gain some cross-industry experience.

I think you will find all this info is on the website, and if not there is an info line you can call for advice (number on the website).

It isn't that rigid. Depending on business needs most employees can work across OG's. The benefit of staying within you OG means that you will build specialist skills relevant to an industry/service line. It is also possible to transfer between OGs.
