Loss of concentration/ focus/ motivation

#1 Loss of concentration/ focus/ motivation

Alexander Meerkat

Does anyone ever experience this - for a few weeks have found levels of concentration, focus extremely poor. Unable to do my powerpoints and excel, head feels fuzzy, tired, sad.

I have noticed I often get this feeling at this time of year. Am getting decent exercise, not working long hours. 7 months since last holiday.

Anyone else experience something similar?

Alcohol - interesting theory - am drinking a bottle of wine a night at weekends and a few glasses here and there in the week.

Will put a ban on it and see if that makes any difference. Does not explain why I often feel like this at this time though.

my reference was too oblique - could be seasonal affective disorder triggered by lack of exposure to sunlight in the shortening days - treated by getting a sunlight-balanced lamp (google seasonal affective disorder, light therapy)
