Hi - I have heard that PwC are reorganising and moving their strategy practice into their consulting practice.

What does this mean for their strategy practice - will they be able to undertake corporate strategy projects or will they simply be absorbed into big ticket consulting jobs?

Is there anyone in PwC consulting who knows more?

The new operating model will in fact incorporate the strategy section, as well as eventually corporate finance.

If you're concern is whether we'll keep on selling corporate strategy projects, that's probably a question to ask within the team. However, sitting on the other side of the fence and having worked on a few strategy projects previously, it'll make it easier for different skill sets to be utilised cross lines of service, something that's caused us quite a few grey hairs in the past. With this sorted, you'll be given the choice to do more traditinally consulting jobs, and vice versa, as the resourcing model is the main part of our ops that's changing.

Thanks for thoughts, appreciate that. My concern is that there will not be a choice, that it could be necessary to work on non strategy projects.

Thanks again.
