Best recruiters for internal consultancy roles?

Hi all

I have been working 10 years now in finance consulting to both public and private sector clients, and I am tiring of life on the road - all the sales targets, the need to write "thought leadership", the timesheets, etc etc etc

I am looking to get back into industry, preferably as an internal consultant or project manager. Which are the best firms to help on this?

Or try Whatsthe Point, which is the elite division of Consulting Point.

You may want to try "There's Recognition Across The Piece Point" - they're strong in the Internal Smoke and Mirrors, Emperors New Clothes space.

Too true - there are a lot of idiots on this board that really destroy reasonable queries with unfunny remarks.

To answer the original question:

Internal consulting is quite a small market and you wont find recruiters specialising in this. Best bet are the leading consulting recruiters as they are in this market on both candidate and client side.

Also look for agencies that have advertised internal consulting roles in the past. Sometimes they will try and place rejected candidates in other roles and will have a contact list based on this.

I should say that now is not a great time. I tired of life on the road myself and returned to industry. However having been made redundant I am now sitting at home....and not finding much to apply for let alone getting interviews.
