A quick THANK YOU as nearly 1,000 readers have now taken part in the survey - will make for some really interesting findings in the final report. Poll closes end-February.

Deacs to Tony Restell (Top-Consultant.com) (#1)

This survey forces the answer to several questions even if one has no opinion. I don't read any of the newspapers listed but chose one at random to complete the submission. The same about using websites to find jobs. I have never done this and probably won't.

That's not quite correct Deacs. The questions that ask which newspapers and websites you read are multiple tick box questions - you can tick multiple boxes or you can leave all blank if you don't read any regularly. It's only the follow-on questions that ask you to choose which one you would rate above the others if you had to choose. I for example don't regularly read the Times; but if I did suddenly need to look for a consulting job then of all the newspapers I'd expect the Times to be the one most likely to feature such jobs.

Tony Restell (Top-Consultant.com) to Talib Ali (#6)

Hi Talib - always good to hear from a Johnian!

We're data-crunching and report writing right now as it happens. I'll be giving readers and recruiters an initial briefing on the findings via webconference call on 17th March (free to join - see here) and then the full report will be published the week thereafter.

The 2009 findings can still be accessed via

this link.

Tony,

when will the TC survey results be published or where can I access them? I thought they were out last week, but haven't seen them.

Thanks.

Sarah Nutton - Top-Consultant.com to Anon (#9)

Hi Anon,

Tony's on his well deserved holidays this week so I thought I'd respond. The Recruitment Channel Report is in the process of being put together and will be available in the next week-10 days. We'll make sure we pop a note on this forum thread when it's available for download and will prominently display it on the site so keep your eyes peeled :) Hope you like it when it's released!

Sarah.
