ACA qualified consultants

Hi, i was wondering what the best routes into consulting would be for a big 4 qualified accountant? which areas of consultancy would particularly value this type of qualification? and which firms are particularly stong in those areas? Would a good exam record be of any use now or is it more about work experience? any help is much appreciated, cheers, sak

Sak - candidates with accountancy qualifications have a lot of options open to them within consulting - particularly at the major brand consulting firms. Right now on Top-Consultant you will see lots of consulting firms looking specifically to recruit candidates with ACA / ACCA qualifications (Accenture, Ernst & Young, etc).

As for exam results - it is usually your most recent experience / achievements that are of greatest importance. A below-average set of exam results will be more than offset by having achieved high ratings within your Big 4 firm since then.
