Dear All,
I would appreciate any feedback relating to Management Consultant entry grades, remuneration and career paths for somebody of my background and age.
My experience comprises of fourteen years in IT (six as a contractor), an MBA and technical / managerial focused MSc. Both the Masters degrees are from respected regional UK Universities but unfortunately they cannot be regarded as “world-renowned institutions”.
Over the years I have worked for a cross section of organisations from blue chips to a diverse selection of SME’s. From starting on the support side of things I progressed to BPR type projects, project management and MIS. I am flexible regarding location and would relocate in order to secure the best possible package and prospects.
For somebody in their early thirties I would also be interested to hear peoples concerns over long-term career security and professional “life” after the management consultancy business.
Thanks in advance,
TC.
