You have obviously travelled a certain path and have some valuable experience - Sell that achievement/time served as opposed to selling your desire to learn. Two points I have noticed in years of consulting: Firstly, a higly qualified entry level person is often intimidating and secondly, most companies are not in the business of fulfilling employees dreams - They are much more harshly transactional....Basically I am suggesting your mindset should be one that recognizes your worth and sells it.
