What do you hate most about your job as a consultant?
Having to answer stupid questions.
People who don't 'do'. The implicit understanding that the more senipor you get the more you have 'people who do that for me'.... Consulting is full of bright and capable people who could do great things for their clients, only their pre-occupied with moving through the ranks to a position where they don't actually do the work.
Sorry, 'they're pre-occupied'... before the spelling police get me!
Anon - it's called leverage and that's how consulting works, don't be so bitter.
people who use the word 'leverage'
and/or who believe the myth
@ Get Real,
I think you'll find its called pyramid selling.
Yeah pyramid selling works - it made me $64 billion. Worked just dandy...
...for a while until the feds busted me. Now I'm in the pen - anyone wanna be my pen pal?

ha ha ha...agreeing with all that - it HAS to be crushingly painful descriptors and non existent words...you know...
'soup to nuts' , 'blended analysis', 'processual' (yes really !) and of course the classic bingo ones we all know and love/hate....
jeez - nothing worse than you meet someone that then uses those glib, crap phrases in social situations.....eek...i'm a chameleon and that even makes MY skin crawl.....
