process consulting

I had some time ago very interesting discussion about process consulting, meaning supporting client in building the solution through the well managed and facilitated process. The main value on the consultant side in this idea was not the expert knowledge of the particular function, but rather soft skills related to the way the management group should work to define and agree the strategy, key decision, etc.

Anyway I am looking for the web sites and references on that kind of consulting.

I am the owner of an argentina consulting using system thinking & system dynamics methodologies (www.cacitgroup.com). And we use the approach of process consulting, you could read about it in Modeling for Learning (J. Morecroft ans. J Sterman) one chapter elaborated by D. Lane.

We usually use visual thinking tools,group techniques and facilitation.
