Interested to hear what perks people are getting at their firm (and at what level) - I'm guessing obvious bits like lap top, blackberry, pension etc...
But curious to hear some of the more obscure things offered.

I have a lackey to poke rice crispies through the centres of cheerios each morning so I can have bowls of cereal for brekkie which look like little planets.
Get a life.

i wouldn't call a laptop a perk, it's a tool to do a job
|
Last year I was allowed to expense membership of a "gentlemans dancing club" because the I-Banking client I was working for demanded I take them there as they could no longer expense it themselves.

Free use of toilets (need to bring own soap)
|
free taxi home if i work after 9pm

Corporate membership to the Tate. Discounted tickets to sponsored National Theatre productions. Generic corporate discounts website. Discounted travel insurance. Corporate gym membership discounts. Gym membership subsidy up to £30 (taxed). Healthy lifestyle check-up once every 4 years. Corporate mobile (free unlimited calls to anywhere in the world). Microsoft software for home use.
And Accenture does have the cheek to claim the laptop as a perk/benefit. What a joke.

The Q-Centre - ok you go there for training but it is probably the best perk offered at ACN!
Do any other consultancies have a similar set up to the Q-Centre?
|
When I interviewed for KPMG recently, they tried to quantify a subsidy for the canteen as part of my benefits package. It really put me off
|
|
Thats just a fail question.
We get a free counselling hotline when people get very stressed out..can imagine how that perk is benefiting people. Can never get through to a consultant
|
oh yes, the counselling hotlines. have you ever called one of those? you get through to some american call centre staffed by some probably low paid woman that couldn't give a sh!t.

Hey! I take my job very seriously.
