Didn't give a location as it doesn't matter. I'm near the generic "High Street". It happens to be Leeds.
As for having guts, thanks, but you have no idea how much the right impression matters for this meeting.

If you're in Leeds and really need to look smart then get along to Gieves and Hawkes and pick up something from their off the peg collection.

If it's that important, I suggest you get out there NOW and get shopping FAST. Use google and find somewhere local.
Secondly, M&S is fine. Most people can't tell the difference between a £3,000 suit and a £125 one anyway.

I think we owe it to this gentleman (now that his stress has subsided) to indulge in 100% wicked and frivolous rumour-mongering as to WHY HE NEEDED a suit so urgently.
Personally I think it fair to surmise that he sh%t himself and had to bin the suit he was wearing.
Any advances on that theory?

I think he woke up naked on a night bus in Camden after a boozy knowledge management session. Certainly a disastrous start to the day.

I think he got a little excited in the stationary cupboard with the IT geek aka Peep Show style and, well, stained himself.

Could the "one place" he normally gets his suits be Dorothy Perkins? Suddenly realised that if you're going to be a cross dresser, then you need to do it in style.
