What would you do?

#1 What would you do?

Quandry

I have been offered a good package by my current industry employer and am unsure whether or not to take it. I have a strong supply chain background and 7 years of consulting on my CV and am financially solvent.

I sense that things may be turning in the market and would welcome the views of ths forum on my employment chances given my albeit brief CV details.

lQuite a few contract jobs advertised in supply chain and procurment consulting at the moment! Why not get your CV out to the interim agancies that deal with these positions and see how the land lies.

Could be that golden moment of a permie payoff on the Friday followed by a freelance job starting gon the Monday at a big fat day rate?

So many issues here -

Do you like your current position and company - can you see a career there in the future?

Have you looked at other options - both Interim and Perm?

What are your colleagues doing? do they have the same options?

And that is just the start of it. If you want to chat about it a little wuther with a recruiter give me a call - 020 7203 8292

Thanks for your responses. I think I'm going to back myself to get another position before the VR money runs out.

Do you think that taking VR will hamper my chances when compared against those unfortunate people who were forced out of their organisations?
