In the last three months I was approached by a recruitment firm for an opportunity with Accenture's UK public sector consulting business. Although they were making people redundant I was assured that they would still be pushing forward with recruiting this specific role. Interviews went well with excellent feedback but it's all gone very quiet in the last few weeks.
Does anyone know if there is a blanket ban on recruitment across the firm and how rigidly it's being enforced? Have there been any recent exceptions?
