Pre-launch consulting services website - feedback wanted

#1 Pre-launch consulting services website - feedback wanted

Diggory

Dear Colleagues

The Diggory Lifestyle Proposition has been created specifically to provide consultants with practical support in running their business and personal lives. Our start point was an intensive investigation into our potential clients. Better understanding of their needs and problems enabled us to define our exceptional service and tailored packages. Our endgame is the completion of a new and robust website. We want to ensure it delivers the clarity and comprehensive support our clients will demand, so are again undertaking research to ensure its quality and relevance.

I invite you to examine our pre-launch website on www.beta.diggoryvaservices.co.uk and would welcome any feedback or suggestion you might have. For example:

 The Diggory Lifestyle Packages were built with you in mind. Do you feel we've captured all your potential needs?

 The last thing we wanted to offer busy clients was a complicated website. Do you find it simple to navigate?

 We have deliberately set the pricing structure to reflect workload, design and value for money. Do you feel our prices are competitive?

 Diggory Lifestyle Management recognises the demands on your time and offers a way to regain control of your life. Which of the Diggory packages would allow you to regain that control?

 And finally, would you buy it?

Thank you for your input. Once I have your views, the website will go live at www.diggorylifestyle.co.uk in the very near future - once the final edits are complete.

Thank you for your time.

Looks great. I just wish I could afford it. Right now, my employer won't even buy me a replacement for me 6 year old laptop. :-(

Reality Cheque to Diggory (#1)

We already have 'a way to regain control of your life' - they are called OFF buttons and are installed on blackberries and laptops. All we need to to is PRESS THE OFF BUTTON.

Ta ta Diggory.

Mr S. Kint to Bryan Hickson (#4)

OK, here are some suggestions:

1. I do not fully understand the package names. The "white cliffs" one makes sense. So does the "blue moon" one. But I'm not sure about the others. For instance, the "black ultimate" and "red eye" and "yellow brick" ones all suggest a high standard of service, but what is the difference? Is one more comprehensive than the other? Maybe a normal gold, silver, bronze etc may be clearer. Or alternatively some names from which it is more obvious what the focus of the package is.

2. Some of the fees seem a little high. E.g. on the red eye package, £36 per hour is quite a lot! Also, surely the hourly rate should go down as you buy more of the service, not up?

3. The service sounds great, but how do we REALLY know that the people doing this will be competent? It's one thing booking a restaurant for a business meeting, but it's another thing booking an appropriate one.

4. Some of the prices quoted are fairly off-putting. E.g. the restaurant prices suggest that value for money isn't going to be top of the priority list. Plus I'm not sure why you included a restaurant list in any event. If for example I used diggory to renew my car insurance, I probably want the cheapest quote, rather than someone just phoning direct line and taking the first quote they get...

5. How do we know how far each hour stretches? I can see the time bank running out very quickly.... Would it be possible to pay per task instead of per hour? Hourly rates always make me anxious.

6. Price is still a concern. We're management consultants, not £5M/year hedge fund managers.

7. The free downloads section is random. I'm not sure it will be very relevant to people. Surely stuff about time management and the like will be more relevant to a busy jet-setter than how to use twitter to promote your blog.

Diggory to Mr S. Kint (#5)

For those of you who responded to the request for feedback on the Diggory proposition – a big Monday thank you!

There were some interesting observations, much of which we will be addressing, so keep an eye on the site.

Thank you again.

Dee

PS Big thank you to Bryan

Village Idiot to Diggory (#6)

Can you explain how this service is different from any number of concierge / admin support services already on the market?

Who is it aimed at? Small businesses as back-fill support? Because many of these tasks are already handled by my secretary at work...
