John

Hi There,

Word has it that PwC are currently going through a hugh recruitment drive particularly in the public sector IT Advisory. Can any provide a bit more light: -

- Which clients have they recently won?

- is there public sector pipeline good?

- what is their IT Advisory space like?

- is it worth moving to PwC in the current climate?

Any insight on the above would be good.

Cheers

PWC to Anon (#2)

Hey - I joined PWC Advisory (or PIC) recently and so far so good. There is quite a bit of Public Sector work at the moment with DWP/HMRC mainly based in North West and some in London. I'd say its a good time to join especially in current climate!

PIC to PWC (#3)

I'm a director in PwC IT advisory - although in private sector not public. It is true we are going through a significant recruitment campaign as extremely busy at the moment - given the general climate you should expect a tough interview process, but also some good opportunities if you have the right skills and attitude.

Response to Director PwC IT Advisory.

Can you advise what the interview process is within PwC nowadays.

Do the grade levels, average age per grade and salary bands vary dramatically depending on industry sector?

If you could summarise the grade levels, average age range per grade and salary bands that would be very helpful.

Thanks.

PS I'm also looking for:

- the average no. years of consultancy experience

- the average no. of years of industry experience

at each grade level.

Thanks.
