I'd like to hear funny stories about big-headed consulting Partners. Can you share some stories about when you have witnessed one of these intriguing characters, complete with bad attitude and hair growing out of their ears, really embarrass themselves?

Evil Consultant to ZB (#2)

Most of the stories I have to tell are tales of quiet desperation on behalf of the less senior consultants who live in fear that a partner will turn up and, with the merest gesture of his hand or a single word, contradict a month's careful analysis and stakeholder management, leaving a week of all nighters in their wake to fix the mess.

Anon to Evil Consultant (#3)

PA Consulting partners who try to sell work into the private sector, based on cutting edge experience at Dorset County Council, or some long forgotten Quango in DEFRA

RE ANON to Anon (#4)

Anon - have seen that many a time elsewhere - very funny..

Even better if you can use those quals abroad. Once saw a partner trying to sell work in spain to a FSI client where the main qual was north tyneside council.
