Aon are to risk management consulting what Accenture are to outsourcing advice. Sure they have a point of view, but that point of view is entirely informed and centred on selling their own products. No client in their right mind actually employs them for their point of view - they only sign the consulting contract once they've decided to buy Aon products. Even then, they only want warm bodies to configure and implement the product, not to advise or consult on a decision that's already been made.
